Teen-Ager Electrocuted
A teen-ager climbing a tree in a neighbor’s backyard in Huntington Beach on Friday morning touched 12,000-volt electric lines and was electrocuted, police said. Police identified the victim as Alex Jones, 14, who was pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital.
Officers said another boy was climbing the tree at the same time. Police said they do not know how Jones came in contact with the lines.
