Navratilova Is Upset by Jordan; Lloyd Wins

Kathy Jordan upset Martina Navratilova, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6, Saturday night in the semifinals of the $150,000 Virginia Slims of California tennis tournament at Oakland.

Jordan, who won the third-set tiebreaker, 9-7, will face Chris Evert Loyd in tonight’s final. Lloyd defeated Helena Sukova of Czechoslovakia, 7-5, 6-4, to move within one match of her second tournament title in as many weeks. Lloyd won the final at Boca Raton, Fla., last Saturday.

Jordan, unseeded in the tournament, is ranked 18th in the world.
