KATMANDU, Nepal — Park rangers said Friday they shot and killed a nine-foot-long tiger that had eaten three people in the Royal National Chitwan Forests in the last month.
The rangers said the tiger had been injured in a fight with another tiger and could not hunt for its normal prey. The cat, named Kancho Bhale, was one of about 30 remaining in the wildlife reserve.
