Charles C. Townsend was elected chairman of the board and Lawrence J. Berkowitz was elected president and chief operating officer of IDC Services, Los Angeles. It also was announced that Paul M. Roth, chief executive of IDC Services, will be taking a leave of absence. Roth will remain a director.
