Pittsburgh Defeats Lazers in Overtime, 3-2

PITTSBURGH — Stan Terlecki scored in overtime to lift the Pittsburgh Spirit to a 3-2 Major Indoor Soccer League victory over the Lazers Sunday.
Pittsburgh (20-21) remains alive in the league’s Eastern Division playoff race. The Lazers are now 12-28.
The Lazers opened the scoring in the first minute with a goal by Poli Garcia, his 29th of the season. The Spirit tied the game at 10:55 of the second quarter when Terlecki sent a free kick across the field to Helmut Dudek, who hammered in his 16th goal of the season.
Thirty-four seconds into the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh’s Zeee Kapka scored his 10th goal of the season to put the Spirit ahead.
