Boy Critically Hurt When Hit by Car
A 14-year-old Anaheim boy was in critical condition Friday night after being hit by a car on West Street.
Police said the boy, whose name was not released, was about 30 feet south of Katella Avenue and was walking between cars stopped in the northbound left turn lane at 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
A southbound driver hit the boy when he stepped out, according to Anaheim Police Lt. Bob Puckett. The boy was treated by paramedics and taken to UCI Medical Center.
