The New Jail Site in Anaheim and Some Vested Interests
Enough already. The County Board of Supervisors made a decision, finally, on the new jail site. What really is funny is that Orange County is “law and order” as far as sentencing and incarcerating persons found guilty on misdemeanor or felony convictions.
So what is the big deal? You must have a jail to warehouse these people. Don’t stick your heads in the sand. Don’t be embarrassed.
Some people say that the affluent, who can afford to buy tickets to Anaheim Stadium events (built with taxpayer monies), will be scared or offended. Bull. They know if you do the crime, you do the time. And besides, all the trouble the police have with rowdyism there at the stadium might be checked by spectators knowing the “Iron Bar Hotel” is close by and waiting.
