Hearing Reset on Club’s Reopening
The Anaheim City Council has postponed its hearing on whether to allow Radio City nightclub to reopen. The club has been closed since it was destroyed by fire last November. Peter Williams, one of the club’s owners, requested the postponement so that the issue can be heard by the full council.
Two of the council’s five members were absent from this week’s meeting. The three remaining members agreed to continue the appeal hearing until Tuesday at 1:30 p.m, when the council will decide whether to uphold the Planning Commission’s Feb. 19 vote to revoke the club’s conditional use permit.
