San Diego State’s Watson Gets Another MVP Award in Basketball
SAN DIEGO —
Anthony Watson was named most valuable player at San Diego State’s basketball awards banquet Friday night. Watson, also the MVP in the Western Athletic Conference, averaged 22.5 points in 1985-86.
Other Aztec award winners were John Martens, most improved; Tracy Dildy, most inspirational; Steffond Johnson, top rebounder; Creon Dorsey and Watson, captains; and Rob Hawkins, coaches award.
