Bartkowski, Rams Agree on Pact

Quarterback Steve Bartkowski, a veteran of 11 National Football League seasons, has reached agreement with the Los Angeles Rams on a one-year contract, his agent, Leigh Steinberg, said today.

The 33-year-old Bartkowski was released by the Atlanta Falcons midway through last season and later was picked up by the Washington Redskins. He was given a tryout by the Rams last week. Bartkowski’s contract with the Rams will pay him $250,000 this year, plus bonuses, according to a source who asked not to be identified.
