A Los Angeles police crackdown on prostitution led to 68 arrests over the weekend as undercover officers cruised portions of Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Police said the two-day action resulted in the arrest of 38 suspected prostitutes and 29 men who were alleged to have solicited sex from female officers posing as prostitutes. The crackdown followed a similar action last month in which officers arrested 15 men for suspected solicitation on Sepulveda Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley.
