A tour of South Africa by a group of rebel New Zealand rugby players will pose no immediate threat to this summer’s Commonwealth Games at Edinburgh, Scotland, organizers and anti-apartheid groups said Monday.
Reports over the weekend said that several New Zealanders already had left for South Africa to participate in a 12-match tour, including four unofficial games against the Springboks, the South African national team.
