All L.A. Fans Want Is to Beat the Traffic
To Mark C. Levy (Viewpoint, April 12) and all the others who annually criticize Dodger fans: Keep it to yourself! My throat is sore this morning because I spent 4 1/2 hours last night screaming and hollering at the Giants-Dodgers game; I sat in the cold every night watching Padre-Dodger pitching duels; I disdain the wave; and I’ve never left early to beat the traffic because I don’t have a car.
It’s fair to say that I speak for the minority of baseball fans who are tired of being lumped together with the pastel-clad, wine-sippers who dominate the scene at Chavez Ravine.
