Favored Aberuschka Wins at Santa Anita

Favored Aberuschka, ridden by Patrick Valenzuela, took command at the top of the stretch and drew off to a 2 1/2-length victory Friday in the $45,750 Mt. Wilson Stakes for older fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Lichi, ridden by Fernando Toro, finished second, a head in front of Regal Ties, ridden by Alex Solis.

The winner was clocked in 1:14 1/5 for about 6 1/2 furlongs down the Hillside turf course.
