Yorba Linda : Boy, 4, Dies After Being Hit by Car Near Home

A 4-year-old boy died late Thursday night after he was hit by a car near his home, a spokesman for the Orange County coroner’s office said. Jeremy Freeman was outside playing when he ran out in front of a car in the 5500 block of Raintree Street at about 6:45 p.m. He died several hours later in the intensive care unit at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. No charges will be filed against the driver of the car that struck the child, said Brea Police Lt. Don Rogers.
