San Diego Padres pitcher LaMarr Hoyt was placed on three years’ probation and fined $375 after pleading guilty to a public nuisance charge that was substituted for alleged weapons, drug and traffic violations.
Hoyt was stopped by police Feb. 18 for allegedly running a red light and was found to have a knife and marijuana in his possession.
