Brentwood : Memorial Day Plans Set
The Brentwood Parade Committee has announced plans for Memorial Day festivities, including two road races, antique and classic car shows, marching bands, drill teams, clowns, cowboys, horses, an elephant and other entertainment.
Starting at 8 a.m. May 25 with 5- and 10-kilometer runs, events will include an antique motorcade at 10 and a parade and picnic at 11.
Organizers said they hope to create the flavor of a small-town holiday. Three hours of music will start at 12:30 p.m.
The parade will extend along San Vicente Boulevard from Avondale Avenue to Bringham Avenue.
