The two Navy pilots killed when their A-7E Corsair II jet planes collided off the coast near Eureka were identified as Lt. Mark Pohlmeyer, 29, of Pittsburgh and Lt. (j.g.) Brian D. Myers, 25, of Las Vegas. They were on a low-level navigational training flight out of Lemoore Naval Air Station.
