A Los Angeles man was arrested in the shooting death of one neighbor and the wounding of another, Los Angeles police said. Warren March, 35, was being held without bail in the investigation of the fatal shooting of Adelfo Flores, 43, and the wounding of Flores’ companion, Sergio Rios, 19, Detective Richard Fox said. Flores and Rios allegedly went to March’s home on Francis Avenue near the Koreatown district to collect a debt owed Flores, Fox said. The two men allegedly confronted March, a Southern California Rapid Transit District bus driver, in front of his house and either Flores or Rios pulled a gun on March, who then ran into his home, grabbed a shotgun and fired through his front door, striking Flores, Fox said. March then allegedly pursued Rios to the rear of the apartment complex and shot him, Fox said. Flores died at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, where Rios was reported in serious condition.
