Man Wonded: A Garden Grove man was shot in the shoulder early Friday when a gun someone displayed for him discharged, police said.
Fritz Olmande, 25, was in serious but stable condition at the Medical Center of Garden Grove, said Sgt. Bruce Beauchamp. He said Olmande was with six others at a house on Buaro Street about 5:30 a.m., when a woman “picked up a gun to display it and it went off.”
It was not clear what the group was doing with the weapon, Beauchamp said. Olmande told officers he only remembered the gun going off.
