Bay Park Building Is Destroyed by Fire
Fire destroyed a two-story office building in Bay Park Wednesday evening, causing an estimated $700,000 damage to a silkscreen business, carpentry shop and two other businesses.
A San Diego fire department spokeswoman said the fire broke out shortly before 6 p.m. in the two-story Valley Sport Corporate Office building at 5234 Cushman Place.
She said investigators looking into the cause of the blaze would be unable to enter the building until today because of extensive damage.
