An open memo to Tommy Lasorda:
1. Get rid of “stoppers” Niedenfuer and Vande Berg before it is too late. These two mediocre talents could not relieve Whistler’s mother.
2. Replace your hugging and kissing of your spoiled and overpaid players and chew more rear ends.
3. Forget the meatballs at your postgame pasta party. You are playing them.
4. Welcome to fourth place. Maybe.
