Monterey authorities said only one person--pilot Frank M. Duran, 75, of Pebble Beach--was killed when his twin-engine Beechcraft Bonanza 35 crashed, setting fire to a Monterey Peninsula home. A couple who lived in the house that was burned escaped with minor burns, although one of their two dogs was killed. Cause of the crash was under investigation.
