A San Diego man believed to be in his 40s was stabbed to death in a North Park house Sunday afternoon, and a 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with the slaying, San Diego police reported.

The body of the victim, whose identity was withheld pending notification of relatives, was found on the living room floor in a house in the 4300 block of Mississippi Street about 2:05 p.m.

Neighbors said they heard screaming and saw a man flee the scene, police said. A half-hour later, officers arrested Steve Edward Albrecht in a canyon in the 4300 block of Proctor Place.
