Officials reported full containment of the brush-and-timber fire that blackened 700 acres near Glacier Point, 3,200 feet above Yosemite National Park’s tourist-crowded main valley. Park spokesman Tom Pimentel said two minor injuries to firefighters were reported, but no developed property was touched. Pimentel said as many as 1,000 people were told to leave the area during the emergency, although they did not appear to be in much danger in the fairly wide-open spaces adjacent to the point.
