Scooter Rider Killed in Fall Beneath Truck

NORCO — A 26-year-old man was killed Monday when he fell from a motor scooter under a double-trailer truck north of here, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
Rose Claros, 26, of Corona was riding his scooter alongside the truck when he fell, a spokeswoman for the Riverside County coroner said.
The accident occurred about 3 p.m. near the intersection of Archibald Avenue and Chandler Street.
