Pacific Southwest Airlines will offer ski-season nonstop...

Pacific Southwest Airlines will offer ski-season nonstop service to Steamboat Springs, Colo., from Los Angeles and San Francisco beginning Dec. 20. Fares have not been announced.

Thai Airways International will begin direct flights from Hong Kong to connect with its transpacific service from Narita, Japan, to Seattle and Dallas/Fort Worth. Service will begin Sept. 2. This will be the first time passengers can fly exclusively on Thai from Hong Kong to the United States.

AirCal service between John Wayne Airport and Chicago began this week. The airline will operate three nonstop flights a day. Unrestricted one-way introductory fare is $129 for tickets bought by July 14 and travel completed by July 31. After that the fare will be $225. AirCal will also offer a 14-day advance purchase fare of $258 round trip with restrictions.
