Buildings Recognized for Modernizations
Two Los Angeles area buildings have been honored for their renovation and modernization efforts by Buildings, the facilities construction and management magazine.
An award for modernization excellence went to Montclair Plaza, a shopping mall in Montclair, built in 1968 and renovated by Homart Development Co. with the addition of a second story and a food court and an interior redesign. An honorable mention went to the Hammerson 655 Building, Los Angeles, owned by the Hammerson Property Corp.
