Authorities sought a male member of a rival gang in the shooting death of a 15-year-old Bell Gardens girl who died of a abdominal wound, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said. Autumn Aparicio, described as a Monterey Park runaway who also used the name Darlene Alvarez, reportedly was with several other girls at a Bell Gardens intersection when Albert (Cisco) Gonzales, 16, began shooting at them. Sonya Ortiz, 13, of East Los Angeles, was grazed. The Aparicio girl and several of her friends ran after Gonzales. Two blocks away, in an alley, he allegedly turned and fired again, hitting Aparicio. Gonzales reportedly sped away in a white van, accompanied by several girls associated with his own gang.
