MEMPHIS, Tenn. —
Memphis’ Bo Jackson hit a two-out, grand slam home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Chicks to a 12-10 Southern League victory over the Greenville Braves Thursday night.
The home run was Jackson’s third of the season and his second in two nights for the Chicks. It came on a two-strike pitch and easily cleared the left-field wall, traveling an estimated 500 feet.
In his other plate appearances, Jackson struck out twice, walked and was hit by a pitch.
