Westminster : 2 Teens Injured When Motorcycle Hits Car

Two Westminster teen-agers were critically injured Sunday after they allegedly ran a red light on a motorcycle and broadsided a station wagon, Westminster police said.
Darin M. Brace, 18, was taken to the trauma center at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center and was in critical condition with internal injuries, police said.
Police said Brace’s passenger, whose identity is unknown, is about 16. The youth was also in critical condition at the trauma center.
Both were thrown from the motorcycle after it struck a car at Hoover Street and Hazard Avenue about 2 p.m.
The driver of the car, Ernest Hurst, 34, of Westminster, was taken to the Fountain Valley hospital, where he was treated and released.
