Victim Stabs, Shoots Robber, Others Flee

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. —
A robbery backfired Sunday when the intended victim stabbed and shot one assailant and scared off two other attackers, police said.
Three men forced the victim into his car at gunpoint in Washington and drove him across the Maryland border to an automatic bank teller machine to raid his bank account, police said. While at the bank machine, the man stabbed one of the assailants, grabbed his gun and shot him, police said.
