Anti-nuclear protesters blocked a gate to the Seabrook atomic power plant for about three hours Saturday before police arrested 110 people.

The protesters were warned by a plant official to leave because they were trespassing, but they refused. Some demonstrators walked to school buses, vans and police cruisers, but others were dragged.

The arrested demonstrators were charged with criminal trespass and were freed on their own recognizance.

It was the ninth demonstration at the reactor this year. Plant spokesman John Kyte said the sit-in had no effect on operations Saturday because no construction crews were present.
