The Death of Councilman Finn
Councilman Finn was a wise gentleman and a tremendous asset to the City of Los Angeles.
His quiet, calm manner, knowledge and sense of fair play made it possible for him to look at all sides of an issue, base his opinion on what was possible under current law and resolve a controversy in the best possible way for the city, the community, homeowner and developer.
During hearings before the Planning and Environment Committee over a proposed hillside development in our area it was my privilege to get to know this unique human being and I mourn his passing.
God Bless his family and devoted wife, Anne, at this difficult time.
