Ogygian, scratched from the Travers and Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga because of muddy tracks, returns today against sprint star Groovy and three others in the $217,700 Jerome Handicap at Belmont Park.
Ogygian, a winner of six of seven lifetime starts, and widely regarded as the most talented 3-year-old in training, has not raced since winning the Dwyer Stakes July 5.
