Dale Earnhardt dominated the completion of the rain-delayed NASCAR Busch Grand National stock car race at Darlington International Raceway to post a 5.72-second victory at Darlington, S.C.
Earnhardt’s Pontiac averaged 95.468 m.p.h. Morgan Shepherd finished second in a Buick, and Brett Bodine placed third.
The race began Saturday but was halted by rain after 71 of 147 laps and reset for Labor Day.
