Driver Flees After His Car Kills Motorcyclist

A motorist fled after his auto slammed into a motorcycle and dragged it more than 150 feet, fatally injuring a 28-year-old man and injuring a woman, 21, who was riding with him.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcycle was turning on Cranbrook Avenue from Compton Boulevard when the car, moving at about 55 m.p.h. in a 35-m.p.h. zone, struck it. The motorist was being sought.
