Phil Seghi, 68, former Cleveland Indians general manager, was in serious condition at Los Robles Medical Center in Thousand Oaks after undergoing surgery, according to a team spokesman, who did not reveal the nature of the medical problem. Seghi is still employed by the team as senior player personnel adviser.
