Ray Moore, a former professional player, has been elected chairman of the Men’s International Professional Tennis Council. Moore, 40, a current board member of the Assn. of Tennis Professionals, replaces Mike Davies, who resigned Tuesday.
It was also announced that Waller Evans Jr. of Irvine, Calif., has been named by the player representatives as a member of the council. Evans, 31, is currently a tour manager for the ATP.
