An art gallery in a small business complex caught fire early Saturday and caused extensive smoke damage to most of the complex, a Fire Department spokesman said.

Battalion Chief John Bolstad said the fire at Frame Wright Art Gallery at 8740 Warner Ave. started shortly after 5 a.m. It took 25 firefighters from Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach and Westminster about an hour to contain it.

Bolstad said the art gallery suffered extensive damage and five other businesses in the one-story complex sustained smoke damage. He said the fire caused about $80,000 in damages to the art gallery structure and another $150,000 to the contents.
