Thousand Oaks Man Raped by 3 Abductors
A 30-year-old Thousand Oaks man was abducted as he walked to his car from a bowling alley, then raped by three men who also beat and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department reported Thursday.
The victim was grabbed by the men as he left the Conejo Bowl on Thousand Oaks Boulevard about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday and a cloth bag was thrown over his head, Lt. George Conahey said. The victim was driven in a pickup truck to an unknown location, raped by the three men and released with his car in Westlake Village about 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, Conahey said.
The Thousand Oaks man told investigators that he did not know the abductors, Conahey said, and that he was threatened with a gun, which was never seen because his head was covered.
The victim drove to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks where he was treated and released, Conahey said.
Sheriff’s investigators said Thursday that they have no suspects.
