RIDLEY’S RETURN

More family ties: Eric Roberts’ sister Julie, 18, will join her brother in her first film role--Hemdale’s “Blood Red,” set for a late October start.

Roberts will play a struggling Italian-American wine maker, and Julie will play . . . his sister. Peter Masterson (“Trip to Bountiful”) directs the immigrant saga on Napa Valley locations.

A little nepotism? “No,” she insisted, “it’s a lucky break. I auditioned and fit the physical requirements. Eric and I are look-alikes--only I have much longer hair.”
