CHULA VISTA — The body of a 57-year-old National City woman was found in a vacant lot at Bay Boulevard and Ada Street in Chula Vista on Friday evening. A coroner’s spokesman identified the woman as Pilar Millare of the 1300 block of East Sixth Street in National City.
Witnesses told police that a red compact car pulled into the vacant lot about 6:40 p.m., dumped something and then sped off, Chula Vista Police Sgt. Gene Dablaing said.
When the witnesses went to find out what it was, they found Millare’s fully clothed body, which had multiple stab wounds to the neck, chest and abdomen.
Dablaing said the investigation is continuing.
