Woman Found Dead; Husband Held
A 26-year-old woman was found dead Friday in her Anaheim home, and her husband has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said.
Officers responding to a report of a body found Laura Maffet in the upstairs bedroom of her home on El Siena Way. An Orange County deputy coroner said the cause of death appears to be strangulation.
Police took the woman’s husband, Harold Maffet, 43, to the Anaheim jail, where he was being held on $250,000 bail, according to Sgt. Brad Roush. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
