Rangers Name Jay Miller to Direct Florida Facility

ARLINGTON, Tex. —
The Texas Rangers have appointed Jay Miller as general manager of the organization’s new spring training and minor league facility in Port Charlotte, Fla.
Miller will serve as general manager for the Charlotte Rangers of the class A Florida State league, a franchise the Rangers bought and moved to Charlotte County from Daytona Beach for the 1987 season.
