Indian heavyweight boxer Daljit Singh has been stripped of a silver medal he won in the 10th Asian Games after a positive drug test, the Seoul Asian Games Organizing Committee said today. Officials said Singh was the only athlete to lose a medal for such reasons in the games which closed Sunday.
The officials said that the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology conducted the test, but they would not specify what kind of drug was involved.
