The Milwaukee Bucks signed free-agent forward Terry Cummings to a two-year contract reportedly worth $2.6 million. Details of the deal were not announced but a report said the contract was for $1.3 million a year. Cummings, 25, had been unable to report last week because of NBA rules barring unsigned players from taking part in training camps.

Last season, the 6-foot-9 Cummings averaged 19.8 points, second on the team, and 8.5 rebounds a game.
