Anaheim police identified the body of a man found in the trunk of a car as 23-year-old Anh Tuan Nguyen of Santa Ana. Lt. Jack Parra said detectives believe that Nguyen was murdered. Tourists reported seeing blood coming from the trunk of a car parked in the 1500 block of South Harbor Boulevard, and police discovered Nguyen’s badly decomposed body in the trunk. There were no visible signs of trauma on Nguyen’s body, and the Orange County coroner’s office said it could take weeks to determine exactly how he died. Parra said he did not know if the registered owner of the car, which bore Iowa license plates, had been contacted.
