Strong safety Ken Easley, a key member...
Strong safety Ken Easley, a key member of the Seattle Seahawks’ defense, underwent an arthroscopic examination on his right knee at Seattle’s Swedish Hospital and could be lost to the team indefinitely.
Results of the examination by Dr. Pierce Scranton, one of the Seahawks’ team physicians, were not available, but Coach Chuck Knox said Easley may be out of Sunday’s game with the New York Giants and other games.
Easley, a six-year pro from UCLA, played all the way in Sunday’s 14-10 loss to the Raiders.
Knox said the decision to examine Easley’s ailing right knee was made Monday by the Seahawks’ team doctors to check for cartilage damage because of fluid on the knee and weakness in it.
