A Loma Portal man who was dragged by a car driven by his wife was killed Monday afternoon when he slid into the bumper of a parked vehicle.
The San Diego County coroner’s office identified the victim as 26-year-old Frederick Miller, a self-employed handyman.
San Diego Police Sgt. Gary Gollehon said police questioned Miller’s wife, Beatrice Rogers, 25.
Gollehon said Rogers was driving away from the couple’s home at 4:30 p.m. after an argument with Miller. Miller apparently ran after the car and grabbed at the partly opened window on the driver’s side. The car was moving when Miller lost his grip on the window and fell.
